The Mobility Factor Of A Soft Hot Tub

We live in a highly mobile society.  Count the number of recreational vehicles you pass on the freeways to get an idea of just how mobile we are.  And that is just the tip of the iceberg.  Many of the RVers spend most of their time in RV parks and are only seen on the highways when the seasons change.  Add to this list the number of people that now have both a primary and secondary home.  They spend the week in one place and the weekends in another.  And, even the people that are mobile like to have the comfort of a hot tub.

Large hard acrylic spas would be impossible to store or transport with an RV or even a pick up truck.  To meet the need of a mobile society the soft hot tub has been developed.  When empty it can be easily moved from place to place.  When filled it can fit into a relatively small area.  With a large bathroom they could even be set up inside a building.  With an RV the portable spa can fit on the deck area and may even fit under the awning.  Wherever there is room for the footprint there is room to easily set it up.

Set up of the soft spa is about as difficult as filling a child's wading pool.  Take it out of your trunk, your RV or you pick-up truck and fill it full of water.  Unlike the conventional solid hot tub there is no heater to worry about.  The heat is supplied from the pump motor by way of a heat exchanger.  Water temperatures rise rapidly and with the use of the included smart chip stays constant even when power is being used for other appliances in the area.  The pump runs on 110 ac current so can be used almost anywhere.

Other accessories that come with the tub are a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter.  The GFCI will insure the power is cut in case the motor grounds out.  These units also come with an ozonator.  This devise uses ozone to sanitize the pool water and reduces the need for Cl or Br.  Finally,  not be outdone by their big brothers,  they come with a light to illuminate the underwater area.

I can relate to that. I bought my son one of those cheapy pools from Walmart. I told him not to mess with the liner rail around the top. He didn't listen. He pulled it off and the pool came down and the water rushed out! He didn't swim in that pool again!

Our first hot tub was the soft, inflatable kind. It was also the cheapest, but it was pretty good quality. It's kind of like the cheap inflatable swimming pools at Walmart: you best keep the kids away or at least supervise them so they don't let the air out of the thing.

I guess a soft hot tub is one of those inflatable kind of things? I hope the quality is better than the blow up doll we got for a friend on their birthday as a gag gift. Maybe we could put it in the tub next time ROFL
